SURF LESSONS at EL PALMAR BEACH:

A mere 70 minutes from the Panama City you will find El Palmar, a small coastal town on Panama's Pacific coast.  There you will find Panama Surf School, located on the Pacific Gulf. here we offer the cahnce to surf in one of the country's most recognized beaches.  At Panama Surf School we have highly trained and experienced surf instructors who have been intructing for over 6 years.  The Surf School located on the beach with excellent waves that are ideal for beginners.  There are also many breaks for experienced surfers.  Soul surfers run the classes and will teach you basic aspects of this amazing sport in a fun and safe way. There is one instructor for every 2 or 3 students to ensure that everyone has a personal and proper instruction with complete attention from the instructor. No prior experience necessary, only a positive attitude, a desire to have fun learning one of the most exciting and challenging sports, and to embark on an unforgettable surf adventure!

As surfers we know that surfing is a very challenging sport and takes a lot of practice, patience and will power.  It is also very reqarding and extremely fun!

Surf Training (4 classes)

At Panama Surf School we suggest for those people who live in Panama or are staying for a while to take a full 4 lesson course that includes 6 hours of surfing, body trainning, surf theory, and surf board purchase recommendations.  The 4 classes can be arranged any time as long as we have 24 hours notice and no expire.

PRICE:

Single: $140 per person

Kids 9 years old or under: $130

Surf Experience (one class)

Included: 2 hours of introductory training (theory, practice on sand and in water,exercises, streching) bilingual instructors(Spanish – English), surfboard, rashguard  and refreshments provided.

PRICE:

Private lesson: $60

 Single and Double: $40 per person (we"ll  join you to another students group of maximum 3 people)

Kids 10 years old or under: $35 (1 hour and a half)

* Kids require more atention, for that reason we provide one instructor every maximum 2 kids.

RECOMMENDATIONS: You must know how to swim.

Bring: change of clothes, swimsuit, beach towel, sun-block, hat, sunglasses, rashguard or normal t-shirt to use during class (if you do not have a rashguard they can be provided).

NOTICE: Due to climatic conditions changes may be made prior to or during planned activities. Schedules may change or be rescheduled according to the tide.

SURF BOARD RENTAL:

Shortboards: $15 per day
Longboards and Funboards: $20 per day

. 2 days of INTENSIVE SURF  includes  6 hours of surf training with beach accomodations. Yoga, fishing and masages are optional in the package.

Driving directions for PANAMA SURF SCHOOL:

From the Pan-American highway you enter the main road towards El Palmar (by km 95 -in front of Carlitos Pizza). TURN LEFT by the intersection with all the confusing signboards and stay on the main road (Calle Central) until Calle 4ta Sur.

We prefer to keep El Palmar as natural and clean as possible. However, there is a business here trying to catch the attention of surfers by the exaggerated use of confusing signboards. We are the GENUINE SURF SCHOOL, offering the MOST QUALIFIED surf lessons with the BEST SURFBOARDS in the area.
