This adventure offers the intrepid tourist the opportunity to ascend to the top of the tress and observe a rainforest from a perspective previously available only to a select few researches and photographers.

This is accomplished by modifying techniques originally developed by canyon reppelers.

The Canopy Adventure is located around the spectacular 250 feet high Macho  Falls  in El Valle de Anton, a picturesque little town nestled 2,300 feet above sea level in the crater of a gigantic extinct volcano. Distance from Panama city it’s around 2 hours and 45 minutes from the beaches (Coronado to Playa Blanca).

The Canopy Adventure helps preserve the rainforest by providing employment to local residents.

Strap in and soar through the treetops, where you see a wealth of unexpected natural beauty and activity. Swooping from platform to platform high among the sturdy cloud forest trees, you pass over a stream and a waterfall.

Total trip is 5 hours and includes transportation from the beach (Gorgona to Playa Blanca) and an experienced guide. Expect a 20 minute walk up hill, where you will find zip lines of varying levels.

At the end of the adventure, we stop in the colorful El Valle artisan and farmers market for shopping and a quick optional lunch.
